My office is located on the far end of my living room. My kitchen, dining room, living room and office space are all within one space. My desk faces a large window and is 5 feet away from a sliding glass door which has a view of my 10"x10" balcony, a nice view over part of the city, the sound of birds chirping and a fabulous view of sunsets. It is on the edge of a very upscale and beautiful neighborhood (Pacific Heights: $5 - $30 million homes).. It is within a couple of blocks of multiple major bus lines.(38 Geary, 38L, 2, 3, 22 Fillmore, 1 California).and you can get anywhere you want to go in the city. Fillmore Street (http://www.fillmoreshop.com/) has a high-end and an average grocery store, pharmacy, bakery, pastry and bread shops, lots of high-end clothing, shoe and makeup shops, a variety of multi-ethnic restaurants, a couple of different movie theaters, and a couple of art galleries. One block from my home is a garage where you can park your car.
It is conveniently located in the middle of San Francisco,
It includes an ergonomic chair and keyboard, a multipurpose print/fax/scanner, a separate high speed scanner, a shredder, high speed internet, a whiteboard and a collapsible side table.

It is a high-end, multi-ethnic area.
Everything you need is in walking distance.
There are a few different coffee and tea houses if you want to get out and socialize with the locals.
My neighborhood is Japantown (6 blocks) in the Lower Pacific Heights area of San Francisco. It is conveniently located to everything you will need - by foot. You don't need a car here because a variety of buses will take you in any direction. There are tree-lined sidewalks and a few different parks within walking distance. You can bus out to the ocean, walk down the hill to the Marina, and see many multimillion dollar homes. While it is completely conveniently located, it is in the heart of a major city so it isn't all that quiet with the buses, fire engines and motorcycles riding by. However, you should be able to get a good nights sleep with a pair of earplugs once the city sounds die down.
